AI Opportunity Audit
How to find the best places to use AI — list your work, find the friction, score the fit, and pick a pilot before buying tools.
1. Start here
The biggest mistake people make with AI is starting with tools: "Should I use ChatGPT or Claude? Should I build an agent? What tools should my business use?" Those aren't bad questions — they're just not the first questions.
The better first question: where is work getting stuck, repeated, delayed, or done below the standard you want? Find that, and the right AI answer usually becomes obvious.
2. The audit
List your actual work, sort for quick wins, and find the friction — the tasks that repeat, stall, or drain time. Score each candidate for AI fit (repeatability, risk, verifiability — the same lens from the delegation system) instead of chasing whatever demo looked impressive this week.
3. Pilot, measure, expand
Pick one pilot, run it with a review gate, and measure the value honestly using the ROI playbook. Winners earn expansion; everything else gets dropped without guilt. This is both where the 30 days end and where your real AI roadmap begins — run the audit again every quarter.
