1. Start here

AI is very good at helping you think through a decision: summarizing options, listing trade-offs, building comparison tables, finding missing risks, challenging assumptions. But AI should not quietly become the decision-maker.

The rule: let AI improve the decision — don't let AI own the decision. The system works for founder decisions, tool comparisons, offer design, prioritization, and everyday choices that deserve a clearer process.

2. The decision system

Most people ask AI "which should I pick?" The system flips it: name the decision precisely, set the criteria that actually matter before comparing anything, generate alternatives you hadn't considered, then score each option with evidence against the criteria.

3. Red-team, then decide

Before committing, have AI argue against your leading option — the red-team pass surfaces the risks confirmation bias hides. Then write the decision brief: the choice, the criteria, the evidence, and what would make you revisit it. You decide; the system just makes the decision visible.
